It seems like when it comes to this journal, my Deviant Art account, or anything else I might post somewhere, it seems like no one pays attention to it. I am at least lucky I can at least get ONE person to comment on something of mine. What am I doing wrong? What should I do? (And NO...I'm not going to post anything related to PR0n.)
Do people think I'm not talented or a good writer or anything? Is that why they are not responding? That they think I'm not good enough to to even be commented on?
It is just like my life in real life...it seems like people just seem not to notice me. I feel like I might as well be invisible. Meanwhile, I have to endure the males at my work place (clients and staff alike) speak on how "cute" some of my female co-workers are. I mean, it makes me feel inadequate, ugly, and feel like I'm a non-person. I mean, am I a woman too? Or do most guys think I'm a man?
It seems like nothing is going right at this moment. I'm struggling to get through my job day-to-day, trying to make ends meet 'cause my brother is out of a job right now. PLUS, my left leg's been hurting me for about TWO months (due to some aggrivated nerve in my spine, from what my doctor's been telling me...and which, by the way, is not really doing MUCH for it). Also with my XBox360 getting the Red Ring of Death AGAIN, it seems like there is no end to the disaster that is my life in site.
What is wrong with me? What have I done to deserve all this misfortune?
Of course, no one is probably going to read this, like all my other posts. No is going to comment. No one cares about me at all anyways. I might as well not exist. :( |

Just want to wish everyone a happy Halloween!
Not much really happened today for me. While most of the clients and some of the staff at my work went to Legoland, I was stuck at work, basically doing nothing much except for catching up on my reading and answering an occasional phone call. I had most of my other paper work done anyway, so there really much else to do.
When I got home, I heard from my brother that we didn't get any trick o' treaters this year. Just wonder if the reason why no one really trick or treats house-to-house anymore is 'cause of all the "poisoned candy scares" and things like that that has people only going to places like the shopping centers. |

| SEDI Short Story |

I wrote this little mini story...or more like a scene from what will hopefully become a novel (or something). Anyway, this is basically based on a storyline I call SEDI (which stands for Strategic Espionage Division of Intellegence). I'll probably post more details about it sometime...if anyone's interested. ^^;
Also note that I've created a new LJ Avatar in honor of this.
Anyway...on with the story! (Oh, and opinions on this are certainly appreciated.)

Eden's back!
Er, well, I've finally got the one computer that was infected by a computer virus during the 4th of July. Good news: my dad was able to take it to someone whom not only managed to clean it up, but was able to salvage the folders containing mine and my brother's content. The (kinda) bad news: I have to reinstall/redownload many of the utilities I had on the computer (which may be a little time consuming, but not really hard to do).
Anyways, the Computer Sprites have been with me...time to get back to work! ^_^ |

| Where's Tron or Bob When You Need Them? |

It seems to me that my newest compy had caught some sort of computer virus while I was downloading a supposed video codec. Fortunately, I was able to get my Anti-Virus that I have on the computer running, and hopefully it can "Drop a truck" upon it. (I hope it does remove whatever is infecting it, or else I'd have to get Bubs to shotgun it. J/K) ^_~
Anyways, I didn't really do much for the 4th, other than my brother bbq'd hamburgers and we had beans and potato salad with it (which was good). We watched WWE SmackDown! after we ate.
Oh yeah, I also was playing the Penny Arcade RPG on the XBOX360. Real fun. I can't wait until the Homestar Runner adventure game on the Wii though.
Anyway, I'm crossing my fingers and holding on to my feat for my newest compy to be okay. Wish me luck! |

| So...What's Nu...er, New? |

Well...about last week was my birthday (May 13th, to be exact). That day was a pretty busy day at work, but my boss at least treated me to dinner that night (which was nice of her...she didn't have to do that, but she wanted to). I've with my job anyway, especially 'cause it it is close to the end of the business year for us, so I have to help get all the paperwork ready for the big bosses and everything. ^^;
I at least have time to go to the movies, however. Iron Man was great (want to see it again sometime) abd Speed Racer was OK...but kinda draggy at parts. Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian was not bad, a little darker than the first, but better. (Which reminds me...I should reread my Narnia books again...which I surprisingly kept all these years.) I'm certainly anticipating the new Indiana Jones movie. It certainly looks like it's going to be great.
Game-wise, I've been mainly playing a lot of REZ HD on my XBOX360 (hence, my new icon ^_~),Baroque on the PS2, and The World Ends with You on the DS. I've also got a couple of games for my B-Day (Mario Kart Wii and FFVII: Crisis Core), but I yet to get to them. Oh yeah, and I have Persona 3: FES too.
And...that's about it. (Expecting something else, weren't you? ^_~ ) |

1. I don't know why, but I've been collecting ticket stubs, no matter whether it is from the various movies I've seen, or from wrestling matches I've been to.
2. Speaking of wrestling, I like to watch the WWE shows. Sure, some people find the stuff ridiculous, but I find it fun.
3. I still like to watching 80s cartoons, like She-Ra or the Ye Olde Transformers.
4. I like video games that give you the ability to design/customize your main character. I mean, I've made about 6 characters for Mass Effect (3 male, 3 female) as well as several CAS characters in Soul Calibur 3.
5. Almost every time I do a Sailor Moon personality test, I tend to get Sailor Mercury. Only a few times I have gotten another Sailor Senshi. The thing is, my favorite Sailor Pluto, although I think Mercury is okay.
6. I often go by MVGaea on message boards, although there have been a couple of times I use the screenname of IannaFei.
7. I like to part my bangs in the middle when I brush my hair.

My questions from sanguinepen and answers:
1 - What is your favorite song?
Hmm...I'd say "Take On Me" by Aha (which I like to sing when I kareoke). I also like "Danger" by Etro Anime
2 - Where is your favorite place to go on vacation?
I usually like going to Las Vegas, although I don't gamble too much. I'd usually like either going to shows and the video game arcades there. I especially like the Luxor hotel.
3 - Cats or dogs or both?
I like both. I had two cats before (not at the same time...unfortunately they're deceased now ;_; ). My dad has a dog who is pretty sweet. Overall, dogs and cats are pretty fun in their own ways. It is too bad I can't have either in my apartment, though. :(
4 - How long have you lived in San Diego?
Uhh....all 31 years of my life (sadly). Not that I'd hate San Diego, though, but sometimes I'd like to experience living elsewhere for once. Too bad I lack the means to move elsewhere.
5 - Where would you live if you didn't live here?
Well, since this more or less relates to the last question...to be honest, I really wonder myself. I'd kind of consider Huntsville, Alabama, since my mother lives there and the people seem pretty nice. Victoria, British Colombia seems like a nice place as well. Arizona is another place I have considered. I don't know about Japan, although I'd like to at least visit that country one day. |
